Aboriginal Cultural Safety and Competency workshop aims to challenge and test past perceptions of Aboriginal Peoples and their culture and will encourage participants to develop a more respectful understanding of Aboriginal clients, work mates and society in general.
Participants will engage in a personal journey where they will be encouraged to take risks with ideas and thought processes and will challenge existing boundaries to discover the nature of their own personal experiences in dealing with Aboriginal Peoples and clients.
Spirit Dreaming is able to provide mentoring services to assist employees and employers who may be experiencing issues that impact on job performance.
Mentoring can include counselling, mediation, relationship skills, and professional training. Services are tailored to respond to the specific needs of the employee and organisation
Spirit Dreaming have a range workshops and trainings available, however also specialise in "in-house" training for individual organisations and government departments.
"In-house" training is flexible and can be adapted to meet the indiviudal needs of the hosting organisation, taking into consideration the organistions RAP's and vision for the future.
